TAX INCENTIVES 20%

Lithuanian Tax Incentives went into effect in January 2014. From now on Lithuania offers all you need: marvellous locations, qualified staff, brand new soundstage and up to 20% of Lithuanian production budget. The Incentives are available to feature films, TV films, documentaries and animated films. This includes domestically produced, co-produced or commissioned films (produced under service agreement). A six-part television series based on Leo Tolstoy‘s novel War and Peace has begun filming in Vilnius. The series is being made by BBC Cymru Wales Drama, in partnership with The Weinstein Company and BBC Worldwide/Lookout Point. BBC true-life courtroom drama The Eichmann Show films Lithuania as Jerusalem

The BBC’s historical drama The Eichmann Show stars Martin Freeman as a pioneering TV producer and filmed on location in Vilnius, Lithuania. Feelgood Fiction doubled the city for Jerusalem to recreate the infamous 1961 trial of prominent Nazi Adolf Eichmann. Eichmann’s trial was the first televised event of its kind and daily highlights were broadcast to audiences in 37 different countries.
