A romantic drama 2 Nights Till Morning ((2 Yötä Aamuun), shot in Vilnius and produced by a Lithuanian production company Artbox and a Finnish production company Mjolk Movies, will premiere this August, 2016.
A French architect, Caroline (Marie-Josée Croze), 40, in Vilnius, Lithuania on business, has to spend an extra night in the city due to a delayed work meeting. At the bar of her hotel she meets Jaakko, 35, a Finnish DJ who is in Vilnius for a gig. One-night stand between two strangers without a common language takes an unexpected turn when an ash cloud from a volcano prevents all flights from taking off.
Paris has long been known as the city of love, but filmmakers such as Richard Linklater and Woody Allen have shown time and again that the likes of Vienna and Barcelona are just as conducive to romance. Now Vilnius can be added to that list, thanks to director Mikko Kuparinen and his latest, 2 Nights Till Morning.
